This is the premiere episode of our new video series, "Tales from the Vault," where we uncover long-hidden stories from within our archival news collections. In this first true crime episode, "The Dora Pinder Murder," we've pieced together original WTVJ newsfilm footage and scripts, plus local newspaper coverage to tell the story of what happened in August 1952 after Dora Pinder, the wife of Miami's notorious bolita gambling baron Howard Pinder, was murdered in their home.
