Migrating to FlySight 2
With the release of FlySight 2, I wanted to share a couple of quick pointers to help anyone migrating from FlySight 1 to FlySight 2. I've tried to keep the interface as similar as possible, so FlySight 2 should feel familiar, but there are a couple of important differences I wanted to share here. Briefly, these differences are:
Push the button for 1 second to turn the unit on/off.
Push and hold the button for 10 seconds to reset the unit if it becomes unresponsive.
If you're using selectable configurations, use a short press followed by a long press to enter selection mode. This is similar to the on-off-on sequence with FlySight 1.
Custom audio files will need to be converted to 24 kHz, 16 bit, mono WAV format.
Log files are arranged in folders named by the date, and inside that, folders named by the time. Each older contains the log files for a single jump.
Each jump produces multiple log files. The file recognized by most applications is the "TRACK.CSV" file, which is similar to the old log files.
