My Redwing Boots (model 2416/2426) shoes experienced a process called Hydrolysis. This left the outer translucent sole breaking off in chunks and the black inner urethane breaking off in grainy black beads. I show you what happened, how the boots were constructed, how I obtained a warranty replacement, what my resoled shoes look like, and finally a comparison between the two boots [**๐ง๐ฅ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฅ๐ ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฅ ๐๐ฒ๐น๐ผ๐].
