Creating a QR code for 3D printing
1. Create the QR code for free on the https://www.the-qrcode-generator.com/ website and save it as a png file (to save as an SVG is behind a paywall)
2. I use Silhouette Studio (business edition) to convert the png to an SVG file. The business edition is not free. There are many free online sites to convert png to svg, but you may have to experiment to save as an SVG that tinkercad will recognize.

3. Create an STL file from the SVG using the free tinkercad.com website
4. I print on a BambuLab A1 Mini 3D printer, so I use Bambu Studio to slice the STL file. I use a 0.2mm nozzle. The QR code tags are printed using white and black PLA filament, with a pause added at the layer of the color change. I also apply stick glue to the printer bed to help with adhesion, and limit the number of tags to 9 to help prevent the models lifting off the bed during printing.
