GPL 67 Historic Mod v3 Beta - Preview 2
The early-season Lotus 49 is pretty much ready. The dash itself has been reskinned and the cockpit gauges have been replaced. They now line up perfectly (at least at their peak values). The cockpit surround is from the early season carset since I haven't completed the later season 49 cockpit yet.
Since Assetto Corsa was partly used as a base for the physics, I decided to show the two side-by-side. The cars have similar weight distribution and the power curves are the same, though maybe AC has a little more power loss between engine and wheels. Peak grip is basically the same front and rear, top speeds are basically the same, though the AC version is likely the later season 49 with wider wheels and therefore more drag. The car setups are also basically identical between the two games.
You should be able to spot some differences between AC's Monza66 and Ginetto's Monza 67 which would affect the lap times. I would expect the ideal difference should really be about 1 second between GPL and real life, so I feel I am roughly in the right place and only some minor tweaks are needed from here.
