Tree Of Peace – 25 Minute Meditation | Martynas Jocius
"Tree Of Peace" ("Taikos medis" in Lithuanian language) is a 25 minutes 12 seconds (14 x 108 seconds) long generative electronic ambient piece of music that goes together with a generative art visualization of a growing tree. This tree is made of 432 beams of light that represent peaceful, highly conscious, loving creatures who work together on a big project.
Number 108 (4 x 108 = 432) is a very special number that can be found in mythology all around the world. Old Vedic japamala consists of 108 beads too.
This is 100% generative music that symbolises the consciousness and independence of nature and natural processes. It can play endlessly without human intervention and each second will sound slightly differently.
Music was coded using Sonic Pi software (sound synthesis by SuperCollider). Visual part was coded using Processing/P5.js framework.
As an experiment this music was also released in Lithuanian language as part of Virsmai project.
Thanks for listening.
