If your water line pipe is made of copper and it bursts then how to refer this burst pipe through this video I am going to share. There are two ways to repair such a broken copper pipe. One is Push Coupling and the other is Extended Coupling Repair. To repair with push coupling you must collect from a push coupling market. The first thing we need to do is turn off the shut-off valve on your water line before repairing the pipe. We have to measure and mark the extent of the cracked or cracked pipe with a measuring tape
Now we'll cut out the designated area with a tube cutter, so you can of course use a find source instead of a tip cutter. Once the pipe cutting is done, deburring is done i.e. scraping the inside of the pipe with a deburring tool.
Now clean the pipe thoroughly with a clean rag or cloth.
If the pipe is 7/8 inch in diameter then mark half an inch and if one inch in diameter mark up to three fourths of an inch.
Now it's time for the push coupling fitting. We will securely connect the post by first inserting the feed into one end of the pipe and then gently pressing it through the other end with a removable tool. So friends you have seen how to repair a cracked copper pipe with push coupling.
Now let's look at how to repair a broken copper pipe by using an extended coupling instead of using a push coupling. So for this we're going to use the broken part of the pipe as before and we're going to separate the part that's cut through the tube. Mark the pipe so that it penetrates the extended coupling a minimum of half an inch.
If you want to repair through extended coupling then you need an additional tool called crimping tool after fitting extranet coupling we will crimp it with the pipe by crimping tool.
This way you can easily repair any copper leaking pipe yourself if you have the right tools.
