RaspBerry Pi: OpenElec- Media Center Demo
OpenElec is the software I use to run the Raspberry Pi as a media center. It can play videos and music over the big screen and through the 5.1 audio of the surround sound system. A wireless keyboard is almost a necessity for armchair viewing. I made an error in my description of the song "Heron Song". It was not recorded in surround audio, otherwise its descriptor would have indicated .ac3 instead of the .wav, which it was. Anyway... I hope you gained some insight to the uses of a Raspberry Pi and maybe consider getting one for Christmas. It's a lot of fun. OpenElec is free source software. Any videos and music used in this video is claimed under fair use. Bip a bapa skooba do..... love that language.
