Why is there 'iPhone Snap' but no 'Galaxy Snap'?
Recently, "iPhone Sub Snaps" have been gaining popularity among couples preparing for marriage.
iPhone Sub Snaps refer to a shooting method where the wedding scene is vividly captured using a regular iPhone, in addition to the wedding photos taken by professional photographers using expensive equipment.
Demand has exploded recently because it offers a sense of immediacy and naturalness, as if the photos were taken from a guest's perspective.
However, there are even fraud cases exploiting iPhone Snaps.
At this point, a question arises:
"Is there a 'Galaxy Snap' from Samsung, which is considered one of the two giants of the mobile industry alongside the iPhone?"
When I searched for "Galaxy Snap" on a portal site, only the Galaxy chipset "Snapdragon" appeared in the search results, and it was difficult to find any personal experiences of using a Galaxy for wedding snap photography.
To find out the reason, I asked a newlywed couple why they use iPhone Snaps, and they replied that it was because of the "iPhone aesthetic." The head of a studio offering wedding snaps for both iPhone and Galaxy phones explained, "The unique 'vibe' of the iPhone is probably a 'toned-down feel.' It seems there is a tendency not to prefer the 'vivid colors' expressed by Galaxy cameras."
However, there are quite a few reviews stating that they actually like the warmer feel of the videos shot with Galaxy phones once they receive them.
