Liquid Hydrogen Storage Tank Research & Development
Southwest Research Institute’s liquid hydrogen storage tank helps clients pursue decarbonization with hydrogen-powered vehicle research and development. The 4,000 kg liquid hydrogen storage (LH2) tank pumps 150 kg per hour of hydrogen at pressures up to 350 bar. The LH2 tank supplies up to 20 test cells and runs 24/7 in support of the advancement of research and development for heavy-duty fuel cell systems and hydrogen internal combustion engines (H2-ICE).
