What objects or characters do you see in a splotch of paint? How many words do you need to write a poem? You might be surprised at what your creative mind yields when you leave perfection behind and invite spontaneity in.
This idea was the genesis of artist, teacher, and author Emily K. Neuburger’s creative journaling book, Journal Sparks: all of us are creative in different ways, and any of us can unlock that creativity when we allow the unexpected to happen.
In a workshop at the Makers’ Mill in North Adams, Massachusetts, Emily K. Neuburger leads participants of all ages through exercises from Journal Sparks, from Name That Color to Little Poems. Watch the delight unfold!
