Shirogorov Custom Division Stellaris #42 | Introduction
This is the Shirogorov Custom Division Stellaris #42.
The moment I encountered a Stellaris in person for the first time, it became my favorite knife. This has remained true (for over a year at this point). So true, in fact, that I had to purchase a second. (You’ve already met my original CD Stellaris #25 on prior posts a few times.)
This particular specimen has been a long time in the making. It didn’t even exist yet when I got a hold of my first (Shiro had not yet released it), and I’ve watched it move since the day it was first sold at lotto.
Stellaris #42 came to me from a good friend. Upon receipt of it, he noticed the blade was the slightest bit off-center (common with these, for some reason). So he had it shipped back to Russia!
Sergey himself set this beauty back up to perfection. The blade is dead center now, and the action is the most buttery I have felt (on CF + a dama, no less!).
The #42 represents ‘Celebration’ for me. I’ve known THIS one was MY one from the moment it was released.
I’m so very honored to give it a forever home. It’s tied for my favorite knife now. 😉🤓
