We speak with Robert Steinhaus about the relationship between nuclear power and nuclear proliferation. Robert Steinhaus is a retired Staff Member with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. He has degrees in both Biological Science and Engineering Physics. He has worked at the Environmental Sciences Division studying the effects of, and been involved in engineering for the atmospheric nuclear tests performed at the Nevada Test Site and has done environmental research on the Marshall Islands Test site locations as well. He has worked in other areas of research including his research on magnetic and inertial fusion energy power plant technology and molten salt fission power plant on thorium cycle.
