A lot of the lyrics in this song are referencing things specific to the Edo period, which is why I left them in their original form.
-Kabukimono were Edo-period eccentrics who attracted a lot of attention with their "slanting, or deviating" clothing, hairstyles, and behavior.
-Ukiyoe, literally meaning "illustration of the floating world", are Edo-period Japanese color woodblock prints of everyday life in the Edo period.
