Solution: A Rack Supported Structure was a great choice for Apple King, because it allowed them to construct wall to wall, floor to ceiling pallet rack, enabling them to take advantage of every square inch of the building for cold storage. The advantage of rack supported buildings is that the pallet racking itself acts as the structure of the building. The rack is covered with skin or walls to create the walls and ceiling, to protect the interior of the building from outside elements.
