[MSX] Beginner plays Twinkle Twinkle Little Star via Synthesix on an openMSX emulated Yamaha CX7M
It sounds absolutely terrible and rather harsh, but as someone who always said he couldn't learn to play music, I'm still proud of my first steps. ;)
Aside from the atrocious lack of musical skills, I think the setup is rather cool though!
I got my wife's Yamaha #PSR295 #Portatone musical keyboard hooked up via MIDI-Out over USB to my Windows 10 laptop, where the #openMSX #MSX #emulator hooks it into the #Yamaha #SFG05's #MIDI-In of an emulated Yamaha CX7M/128 running #Synthesix by @Grauw, which uses its #SCC chip to output the sound.
First part of the video I play the beginning of #TwinkleTwinkleLittleStar without any effects, and afterwards I repeat it while holding the space bar, which I think runs a Low Frequency Oscillation effect on it? I really should see if Synthesix has a manual. xD
