Mi Isla is an ode to the island of Dando's birth, Curaçao. In the song and music video, Dando literally sings about each neighborhood on Curaçao. He sings in a story telling way and tells to a girl, where he's going to bring her and he guarantees she will fall in love with the island Curaçao after the tour. The listener can even follow the tour in the accompanying music video, which of course is shot on the beautiful island Curaçao with drones. The lyrics are in Papiamentu.
