As a math lover and math teacher, I've always enjoyed Pi Day, and to be honest, I've never really gotten the backlash. We need all the hooks we can to help people enjoy and celebrate mathematics, so if Pi Day gets people in the door, I say the more the better.

To that end, I've got a fun little puzzle for this year's Pi Day 2023 celebration. I first saw this sudoku puzzle last August. I really didn't anticipate it being that much of a challenge. I figured if someone had found a way to embed the digits of pi into a puzzle, the digit gimmick was probably more important to them than the quality of the puzzle. But this one really surprised me! It ended up requiring quite a few more advanced sudoku techniques.
If you'd like to check out the puzzle yourself, I played it in the Good Sudoku app by Zach Gage and Jack Schlesinger (https://www.playgoodsudoku.com/), but you can play the same puzzle on the Sudoku Exchange here: https://sudokuexchange.com/play/?s=01....
