The Dutch Growers '53 GMC
I drop by Dutch Saskatoon to check out the very first truck the Business ever bought when the doors opened in 1953. Even more incredible than the GMC, I get to talk to the original owners of the truck, Arie and Audrey Van Duyvendyk, who opened Dutch Growers when they came to Canada from the Netherlands. Rick van Duyvendyk along with Jill Vanduyvendyk and Nikki van Duyvendyk are now 2nd and 3rd generation owners of the business. Rick takes me through the restoration details, and how he took a beat up old work truck and turned it into a sweet hot rod.
