This was a big lesson for me personally in learning that while it takes two people for a friendship or relationship to work, it also may take you to reach out and keep reaching out.
We never truly know what’s going on behind closed doors.
Struggles are real.
Losses hurt especially during the holidays.
Life is hard.
But here’s what we kind humans can do.
Make the call.
Send the text.
Please keep trying for their sake and don’t get offended if they’re not as quick to respond.
If I’ve learned anything the last couple weeks, it’s to drop my expectations and just be there when they’re ready. ♥️
