Surely, my subscribers who have been with me a long time know that this was inevitable at some point. Crossing my favourite clown duo with my current obsession is just something that I like doing. I'm still debating whether or not to make a sequel which will feature Joker and Bucky clashing, but I don't have a proper storyline yet. If this gets enough attention, I'll definitely consider it.
STORYLINE
Bucky is left to his own devices after rescuing the Avenger, Captain America, resulting in failing his mission. Like a ghost he moves through crowds, alone and still anonymous to the world.
The more time he spends alone, the more his mind ponders the Captain's notions of this so called Bucky Barnes. As he ponders, more and more of his memories begin to resurface. Troubling thoughts plagued his mind, memories of every bad deed he had committed, but still his knowledge of Bucky wasn't any clearer.
He seeks out help with a psychiatrist, to help with his PTSD and to help recover some of his memories. The doctor is none other than Dr Harleen Quinzel, not currently situated at Arkham dealing with the criminally insane.
Harleen is sceptic over Bucky's story, but she humours him. She doesn't believe that Bucky could have been in WWII, until he shows her otherwise taking her to the Smithsonian to show her Captain America's exhibit.
The more time she spends with him the more she sees how he could easily be a PTSD victim from the war. But there's something else troubling him, too. There are times where he becomes completely unresponsive and unstable. His sullen and introverted behaviour was sometimes replaced with hostility, even aiming it at Harleen at times. She still wasn't sure what triggered it, nor could he remember what it was.
Being a young, new doctor, she feels lucky to have such a fascinating patient, but she fears that he is becoming too dependent on her and that his relationship with her was becoming too close.
Bucky refuses to be treated by her after an argument where she confessed that she thought they were becoming too close. After awhile without her, he begins to realise that he needs that someone not only to help get deal with his problem, but also for company. When he returns to her office one day in search for Harleen, he can't find her.
She had been transferred to Arkham Asylum where she was to treat the clown prince of crime, The Joker.
