total renovation 120sq m apartment
I wouldn't call this a renovation, more like brand new build from scratch. I created a superbly practical layout without sacrificing luxury. before, there was no guest bathroom. by stealing 50 cm from two rooms, guest bathroom fit perfectly in between. laundry was moved to a newly-built room on one of the balconies that is adjacent to the kitchen. now the apartment has two master bedrooms, 1/2 bath (powder room) and two more rooms that are an office and play room for grandkids. luxurious pink and gray master bathroom feels more like a spa or five-star hotel. nice-sized walk-in shower with a little hand opening for the faucet so you don't have to get wet turning on the water. his and hers vanities with lighting and mirror for each one. custom built laundry closet fits perfectly next to the toilet.
every inch in the kitchen was utilized for storage. small yet cozy- practical coffee nook is perfectly nestled between refrigerator and double ovens. the door that leads to the outside laundry room is now 40 cm taller and let's in a lot more light. kitchen sinks are separate and a touch of luxury is afforded by pot filler over the cooking top.
even though this living room is somewhat smaller than the previous apartment, all of the client's furniture is proportionally placed creating cozy conversation spaces as well as reading nooks.
the guest bedroom has special closets , comfortable bathroom with a bathtub for grandkids, enoug h space at the entrance for stroller. the weather beds are placed now affords privacy even if the door to the room is open.
