In this episode, tests of the generator's "safety system", namely protection against: lack of oil / too low oil pressure during generator operation / "dry" start without adequate oil pressure.
The topic dragged on a lot because the engine stood for many months without starting and all the oil flowed into the pan and the pump "dried up", which is why I was unable to fill the pressure in the system.
Once I have the oil pressure, the pressure gauge, it's time to sew the safety system. It was not an easy matter because I did not foresee everything and I had to buy additional elements several times to complete all the necessary elements.
During the tests, it was necessary to change the concept several times, i.e. to secure the system in such a way as to secure the system as cheaply and with the least possible interference and, if necessary, to bypass the safety system in an emergency. In the next practical tests we will see how this solution works.
Timeline:
0:00 - 6:08 Test of the safe start and shutdown system
6:09 - 7:22 About the testing process
7:23 - 12:08 A little bit about the backstage of the project
