Demo Cengage multi view Probs w Word for Data table
Doing assignments in the Cengage homework manager can be very difficult and time consuming when having to deal with data tables that are way above the data entry screen. This is typical especially when doing accounting problems. You have to scroll up to get the data, remember it and scroll down to enter it. This is a demonstration of a technique using side by side windows with Cengage in one window and Word in the other. The data tables in the problem are copied via taking a screen shot and pasting it in the Word document. Then all the data is available to view at the same time you are entering the answers in the Cengage exercise. This technique should be used for homework to practice for quizzes and exams which are timed. Since Quizzes and exams have more problems than you can complete in the given time and they are graded on a curve you want to do the problems as quickly as possible to earn as many points as possible. This technique will reduce the time it takes to do some multi-view problems by 50%.
