Correction: The linear distance from the beach (where I launched) to the floating restaurant is 2.2km. As there is a line of blue barrels blocking the way, one needs to travel all the way to the east opening (towards the Jetty) in order to clear the barrel line and head towards the restaurant, the travel distance in this manner to the restaurant is 3.8km.
