100% is a category that includes getting all of the heart pieces, all heart containers, all items, all maxed upgraded items and their respective maximum capacity, all dungeons, all photographs, and 20 secret seashells. Technically there are 26 secret seashells but the 6 other seashells don't add anything extra and that once you get the Level 2 Sword, the rest of the seashells despawn anyway.
The run started out with an unfortunate start to Tail Cave and was on the edge about resetting this run early but I wanted to see how some of the other segments went. I played the other segments well enough to where the run wasn't a complete disaster so I kept going. I lost hope of this run having a chance to PB after getting 2nd try Early Hook Shot but I knew I was still on pace for some kind of 1:19. So I wanted to try to play my heart out.
