How Far Can I Upgrade This 13 Year Old Small PC?!
Starting with a 13-year-old small form factor system, this project set out to see how far you can Upgrade Old PC hardware before hitting its limits. At first, the machine was slow, noisy, and barely capable of handling modern tasks. But instead of replacing it, the goal was to Upgrade Old PC step by step and unlock as much performance as possible from aging components.
The first move to Upgrade Old PC responsiveness was replacing the original hard drive with a budget SSD. This single upgrade made a massive difference in boot times and overall system speed.
