I Bought The CHEAPEST PC On eBay...Bad Idea?
Budget PC hunting on eBay is always an adventure — you never really know if you’re buying a hidden gem or a ticking time bomb. When I found this listing for just $30, I couldn’t resist. From the pictures alone, Budget PC looked rough: dusty fans, scratched case, and cables hanging everywhere. But there was only one way to find out if Budget PC could still live up to its name — by powering it on.

At first, Budget PC didn’t even boot. After some troubleshooting, I discovered a dead CMOS battery and a loose SATA cable. Once fixed, the system finally came to life, revealing an older Intel i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, and integrated graphics. Not exactly impressive, but that’s where the fun began. After adding a cheap SSD and a used GPU, Budget PC transformed from e-waste to a surprisingly capable little machine.

Budget PC managed to run games like Valorant and Fortnite at playable frame rates, proving that performance doesn’t always come with a high price tag. Sure, it’s not silent or powerful, but Budget PC offers unbeatable value for its cost.

In the end, Budget PC reminded me why I love building and restoring cheap systems — it’s all about creativity and patience. You don’t need $1000 to enjoy gaming; sometimes, all it takes is a screwdriver, a little effort, and a risky $30 eBay find.
