The Black Gay Jews are a singer/songwriter duo from Berlin and were founded by Kostia (vocals, percussion, beatbox) and Darp (guitar, beatbox, vocals) in 2009. Using this minimalistic setting, they combine punk melodies in the style of NOFX with beats well-known from HipHop combos like Cypress Hill. They thereby exhaust their voices in a way that their listeners get the impression of having a full band playing in front of them - leaving lots of laughing and impressed faces in the audience. HipHop meets Punk meets magic!

Die Black Gay Jews sind ein Singer/Songwriter-Duo aus Berlin und wurden 2009 von Kostia (Gesang, Percussion, Beatbox) und Darp (Gitarre, Beatbox, Gesang) gegründet. In diesem minimalistischen Setting kombinieren sie Punk-Melodien im Stil von NOFX mit Beats, die man von HipHop-Combos wie Cypress Hill kennt. Dabei erschöpfen sie ihre Stimmen so sehr, dass beim Zuhörer der Eindruck entsteht, eine komplette Band spiele vor ihnen – was für viel Lachen und beeindruckte Gesichter im Publikum sorgt. HipHop trifft Punk trifft Magie!
