Established in Joo Chiat in 1953, Guan Hoe Soon Restaurant is reportedly Lee Kuan Yew's take-out choice when it comes to Peranakan food. Third-generation owner Jenny Yap says their signature Otak-Otak and Ayam Buah Keluak is on the menu when the Istana calls. The So Shiok team just had to try for themselves!
