Step Response of RC Circuit || Simulation Using Multisim (2020)
In this video you will learn how to simulate a series RC circuit for step input voltage source.
At first, basic of transient analysis is explained in details. The terms associated with transient analysis such as natural response, forced response, transient, steady state, time constant etc. are defined with an example.
The example that has been taken for the explanation is first theoretically solved then verified with the simulation result from multisim software.
The configuration for transient analysis in multisim has been elaborately described.
Finally, the voltage and current response for capacitor is obtained and analyzed.
