12K Blackmagic URSA MINI PRO - Preview & thoughts
Here are some of my thoughts about the newly announced 12K Blackmagic URSA MINI PRO
As a long time blackmagic user you're never sure what an announcement could mean and I'm confident this caught a lot of people off guard!
The reason I don't think this is a gimmick is that they have some legit reasons to make a higher res sensor to get true 8k etc. Also the fact you can get a full sensor image even at lower res shows some careful thought about how this camera will be used practically by filmmakers.
Not to mention the crazy high resolutions available in 8k and 4k at super 16.
Also great to see the number of media options remains with c fast, sd cards, usb c to external drives and their own ssd recorder as options.
