Coming out of the heart of Oakland in the Bay Area, Baylando Records originated as a group of DJs, musicians and producers working in all forms of digital media and art. It all started in the recording studio of DJ El Kool Kyle, who at the time, was just beginning his now infamous and successful seven-year run of sold out shows at the EL SUPERRITMO DJ gig in SF.
Over time, ideas grew, partnerships were made, and we formed a tight family with only one goal in mind: to bring superior Global Dance Music (GDM) to the world.
Baylando Records became a full-fledged record label in 2013. We are actively recording, remixing, performing, and making partnerships with artists, DJs, venues, locally and regionally-based sponsors, and other commercial entities. We are also deeply involved in the production of videos, commercials, and soundtracks for motion pictures and television.
