From Rescue to Release: Loggerhead Turtles Cayman & Finely's Inspiring Story 🐢✨
Join us as we witness the heartwarming double loggerhead turtle release in Juno Beach, Florida.
I'll start the weekend in Florida by showing you around the Loggerhead Marinelife Center and introducing you to two very special turtles, Cayman and Finely, who are getting ready to be released back into the wild at the end of the weekend.
Cayman is a subadult Loggerhead who arrived at the center about three months ago with a severe issue thanks to a shark attack, mixed with getting a large amount of fishing line wrapped around the injury, which caused her to need her front left flipper amputated.
Finely is a lively subadult Loggerhead who's about 16 years old, roughly 90 pounds, and a 3 week patient who is recovering from having a fishing hook embedded in her flipper.
These beautiful creatures are returned to the ocean in this touching event that celebrates Loggerhead Marinelife Center's conservation efforts.
