Temperature difference drives winds and creates storms by producing air of different temperatures. With the Northern hemisphere much colder and the Southern hemisphere only slightly colder this effect will be exagerated in the little ice age. More storms, higher winds, more hurricanes and storm surge generated waves could be in store.
