On August 2, 2024, the New Jersey Symphony (@njsymphony), led by Xian Zhang, captivated audiences with a stunning performance of classical Indian music. Originally planned for Nilkanth Plaza, the event was moved indoors due to heavy rain. The night also featured vibrant dance performances by Kulture Kool (@kulture_kool) and honored guests Assemblywoman Tenille McCoy (@aswtennillermccoy) and the PSEG Foundation (@pseg). This collaboration between BAPS and the New Jersey Symphony beautifully blended Western orchestral music with traditional Indian melodies, celebrating cultural harmony.
