Welcome back to our 7th Episode of Banaras street food tour.
In this video,
We have tried the most famous kachori Sabzi & Jalebi of Chachi ki dukan located at Opp. Guru Ravi Das Gate, Lanka, Varanasi serving since 1915. I think this is the best Kachori sabzi in the city.
Afterwards, We headed to kashi hindu vishwavidyalaya (काशी हिन्दू विश्वविद्यालय) and visited to Vishwanath Temple. We have tried Chola samosa , long latta & Kulllhad tea.
Lastly, We have tried Cold coffee which was superb and cost me only Rs. 30/-
1) Chachi ki dukan since 1915 serving Kachori with delicious aloo petha chane ki sabzi and khasta karari jalebi. I think this is the most tasty and reasonable poori sabzi along with the one of the oldest shop in the city. One should definitely try.
I have tried Poori sabzi which cost me Rs. 40/- with 4 poori and sabzi.
Timing : 04:00 am to 11:00 am
Location : Opposite Guru Ravi Das gate , Lanka, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
2) Chola samosa outisde Vishwanath Temple in BHU from last 70 years serving Chola samosa, Long Latta (Sweet dish) and Kullhad tea.
They have served garma garam chole with simple tasty samosa which cost me Rs. 20/- with 2 pcs of samosa with chole ki sabzi.
Long lattta Rs. 13/- per piece and tea costs you Rs. 6, 10 & 15 only as per the size.
Timing : 09:00 am to 07:00 pm
3) Om cold coffee outisde Vishwanath Temple in BHU since 1963 serving cold coffee.
I have tried Cold coffee without ice cream which cost me around Rs. 30/- only and it was amazing.
Price : 40/- for cold coffee with Ice cream (Chocolate, vanilla & butter scotch) and Rs. 30/- without ice cream.
Timing : 07:00 am to 07:00 pm
