This score uses standard notation for diatonic edos based on the circle of fifths. In 19edo, this means the C major diatonic scale (C D E F G A B C) has the steps 3323332, and #/b represents an alternation of one edostep. This ensures that spellings for diatonic scales make sense, e.g. B–F# and Db–Ab are still perfect fifths, and the E major scale used here (E F# G# A B C# D# E) also has the steps 3323332.
