King Fish String Figure - step by step tutorial
Instructions shown slowly from the users point of view on how to make the King Fish string figure, and do a fun trick to a friend using this string figure. This is not Jacobs ladder, but looks similar. Jacobs ladder has 4 diamonds, but the King Fish only has 3 diamonds and requires fewer steps to make.
Steps to make Kingfish:
Start with string across both palms and pick up the opposite palm strings with your pointer finger to make the standard Open A
Release index finger string on your right hand
Take your left index finger, grab the left palm string, release left thumb and pinky while string on back of index slides off. Keep holding the palm string.
Reposition the string back over thumb and pinky on left hand
With left index finger, grab the right palm string over it, and twist it toward you.
With right pointer finger, stick it in between the thumb strings, AND then grab the near string on pinky pulling in toward you and up. Keep it high on your pointer.
Next you will use both your pinkys to go over and grab the nearest string on each side
Let the back pinky strings slide off
turn your hands away from you
Release the thumbs
You have made King Fish! See the video for the trick you can play with a friend to "capture" them in your creation.
