New friend of Abyssinian cat Motya is Chihuahua Dulcinea
In late December, we had a new family member. We decided to give her the name Dulcinea (Dusya). Why? Firstly, the breed is Mexican, so the name wanted to pick up Spanish. Secondly, in Cervantes' novel "Don Quixote", the beloved woman of the main character was called Dulcinea del Toboso.
Motya did not immediately make friends with Dusya. At first he preferred to watch her from afar. And for the first time in 4 years, we heard him growling and hissing. He never did that! But then gradually curiosity won out and they became friends :) Now they are running after each other throughout the apartment. Dusya doesn't let him be bored, plays with him, bites his legs so that he runs after her.
