Camp focus:
We're super excited and blessed to offer this XC camp! Our Camp goal is to provide a rock solid foundational experience for each athlete, giving him or her the tools to build better versions of themselves, both in sport and in life. Most high school based xc running camps are "mind" and "body" focused. Meaning the emphasis of the camp is on physical training (body) and mental strategies for competing, racing, etc (mind). Our camp is different in that we believe in providing tools for athletes to build upon their Mind, Body and SPIRIT. We are Christian faith based but the faith portion of the camp is not mandatory, so everyone is welcomed to join. We have a camp workbook and agenda that we share with parents prior to the camp so they can follow along with the same study material we provide their athlete. Each day we have 1-2 runs and active recovery sessions along with 1 class session where we cover the topics of our study guide.
Last summer our camp included athletes from 8th grade to sophomores in college. Our camp coaches included a university xc coach, 1 high school xc and track strength coach, a college xc and track team captain, a 2x NCAA D2 all American and high school history teacher. Last summer and this summer, we're staying in the village about 20 yards from the Western States start line in some amazingly beautiful condos. Boys in one condo, girls in another. Most coaches and athletes commute from socal together however we had some fly into Reno and will likely have a couple flying into Reno this year.

May your athlete come back stronger, happier, healthier and fired up for their best season yet!
