Tarek Heggy is an Egyptian thinker. The author of 35 books on the MENA politics & cultures he speaks out about radicalism, modernity, and the limitations imposed on thinkers across the Arab world today. A board member of 11 universities/institutions, and former professor and the ex CEO of SHELL Oil - MENA. In addition to many other of his works, he sponsors a scholarship for graduate students studying Jewish-Muslim relations. Here he talks about the loss on the Arab world of the Jewish departure.
