Abandoned Robot - Houdini and Blender Modeling Showcase
A modeling work I made in Sep 2022.
The robot character is inspired by the guardian robot of Castle in the Sky. It has been abandoned for such a long time that weeds, ivies and even a small tree have grown on his body.
He just stands there like a monument, and sparrows build nests on him. Maybe one day he’ll stand up again.
I used Blender to model the robot's base body and Houdini to procedually generate foliages like mushrooms, ivies, trees and vines.
