I wasn't planning to make this video public but heck why not!

Bought me some LED strips to light up my printer and this is the result.
I have 1 segment with 3 LED's lighting up the extruder. That segment I have hooked up in parallel with the cooling fan so it will always be on when the printer is on.
The other strip mounted on the top of the frame I hooked up trough a old modified 12V adapter I had laying around (turns out those things DO come in handy some times). I hooked the adapter up on the inside of the printer right at the plug so the adapter works independently but still does not require a extra plug in the wall. This way I can also turn on the lights without turning on the printer like for example to work on it.
I know this isn't really the cleanest setup and I'd LOVE to have a actual extra 12V psu inside the chassis of the printer hidden away but that'll be something I'll look in to in the future.

This was a nice Sunday project for me that took me a few hours I am happy with the result and I hope you enjoyed the video.

P.S. Do not try this at home but if you do decide to I can not be held responsible, I am a trained electrician and I know what I am doing.
