No weed just music. I mean, weed was involved in the making of this music sure. This is a song called Terra that I recorded with my friend Nick in 2020. I played guitar, wrote and sang the lyrics. Another friend of mine helped by adding the piano track. I just recently cut the video using some B-roll from a project that I started but never finished. I just wanted to share something that I made, I've been posting it to social channels so I might as well post it here. And if you think it's weird to post something like this on my weed channel ask yourself why? I think we've been shoved into boxes by algorithms. Places where the guidelines around content creation are super rigid and entirely profit-motivated. And now the algorithms are farming that content to train A.I. models to replace creative people. It's super weird. I feel like I need to share more real art, no matter what it is. The trends in A.I. and technology are super toxic and anti-human. Anti-art. I'm not down with that. The reason A.I. art is not real art, in my opinion, is because real art comes from human struggle. A.I. isn't enduring against reality and battling for its survival, and it's not feeling the associated feelings that come with those struggles. A dolphin knows more about art than an algorithm. A fly eating feces knows more. Anything living knows so much more than A.I. ever can, because its lived experience informs the feelings necessary to generate reflective works. A.I. can't even get hungry. Anyway here's a song. The first of several. And if I think of anything else worth sharing I'll put it here. Ta ta for now, go create something because you can.
