With the Vikings group, Tong Yang has widened its doors for more diners to experience the endless choice of delicious treats aside from its famous hotpot, with Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Filipino dishes from delightful dim sum to decadent desserts.
Appetizers of steaming hot Dim Sum Asado and Ube Pao, Chicken Feet, Red Bean Bun, Siomai, and Hakaw are the best choices, among others as starters and many colorful makizushi with different fillings and toppings for a taste of Japanese.
The extensive buffet offers premium tender meats layered with some fats that cook nice and crispy on the grill such as Chuck Eye Roll, Beef Karubi, Pork Jowl, and Pork Belly best paired with Korean side dishes or Banchan of fermented kimchi, sweet & spicy crispy dilis, pickled beetroot, and the refreshing papaya salad.
It is always to one's advantage and enjoyment to choose what ingredients to have for a delicious and flavorful hotpot. There are a variety of fresh green leafy vegetables and mushrooms, meatballs and dumplings, assorted noodles, kinds of fresh seafood and seashells, assorted marinated meats, and offal meats of beef, pork, and chicken, with our favorite Do-It-Yourself mix sauces of salty, sweet, and spicy, to match and balance the meats' good umami flavors. Every preferred ingredient we add to our hotpot elevates and boosts our dining pleasure.
There are also choices of pre-cooked or ready-to-eat hot main meals like stir-fried Mixed Vegetables, Lemon Chicken, Spicy Korean Pork Bokkeum, Pork Tausi, Seafood Noodles, Fish Laksa, and Mixed Tempura for good all-around Asian flavors.
We also indulged in delightful desserts like Halo-halo, native delicacies, fresh fruits, cookies, ube jelly, pana cotta, fruit salad, and ice cream with the unlimited variety of refreshments we enjoyed throughout the buffet.
We ended our sumptuous meals with hot specialty coffee paired with mini cakes.
We enjoyed the feasts of good Shabu-Shabu, Grill, and Eat-All-You-Can Buffet in one at Tong Yang, full and satisfied without breaking the bank.
