I tried to show the seriousness of the situation using satellite imagery with Google Earth Engine Timelapse for March 22, World Water Day. Water is one of our most valuable assets and is vital for the whole world. If it goes on like this, we will be faced with a world like the Mad Max movie.
In this video, you will have the opportunity to see the changes in water levels of lakes such as Burdur Lake, Eber Lake, Akgöl, Akşehir Lake, Yarışlı Lake, Hotamış Lake, Meke Lake, Aral Lake, Milh Lake and Urmiye Lake between 1984 and 2018.
