How to Configure a Smart Host and other Mail Delivery Settings in MDaemon Email Server
MDaemon’s email delivery settings allow administrators to configure message routing options such as direct SMTP delivery, or delivery via a smart host. Each domain can be configured to send mail to its own assigned smart host, or a default smart host can be configured for domains that have not been assigned a smart host. For smart hosts that require SMTP authentication, administrators can enter a username and password, which MDaemon will use to deliver email to the smart host. Administrators can also enable per-account authentication, which allows each account to use its own username and password when connecting to a smart host.
