Trash can rocket using physics! 🗑️🚀
We wanted to do something special to celebrate hitting our goal of 𝟯 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 on #youtube. This demo is for YOU! Thank you! We have so much fun creating demos and celebrating the joys of physics with everyone.
How does the demo work? When we put liquid nitrogen in a water bottle and secured the cap, the nitrogen started turning into a gas very quickly. The gas built up a lot of pressure in the bottle until it exploded! The explosion threw the recycle bin high in the air like a cannon projectile.
