Tradingview Alerts On Indicators And Trendlines Tutorial
If you want are a trader then obliviously you don’t want to sit behind a screen the whole day looking at the price action.
Therefore you can set alerts on indicators or trendlines for example. Then you will be notified when the price action breaks an important trendline for example or your indicator of choice gives an important signal.
In Tradingview you can easily set up alerts. The alert will be set to the timeframe that is selected when creating the alert. So if you set an alert on the break of a trendline on the barclose of a candle, then the alert will fire off once this happens on the 1 hourly timeframe if you have that selected when the alert was created.
If you have selected another timeframe selected then the alert will be applied for that specific timeframe.
